My Clazzio order status is now shipped with a fedex tracking number. Scheduled delivery from CA to VA is 4/7/16.

For what it's worth I have Katskins installed in another car I own and although they look great, I didn't want to put that kind of financial commitment of purchase and installation into a brand new interior in the Taco.

I installed my Katskins myself 10 years ago using zip ties instead of hogrings. They still look great after all these years but I took my time to get it done right so it took two days and I only had to do two seats. Doing the Tacoma myself would likely take a week or add about $600 for installation on top of the cost of the Katskins to have a shop do it.

Pics of my Katskin install, cost of the two seats then were about $500 plus shipping in 2003. Pretty sure it would be about double that for the Taco for the seat covers alone.

This mod is about 1/3 of that cost of time and effort and completely reversible in a product that appears to be at least 85% as nice.

Yeah the reversible part is truly appealing. I don't want to rip off the original cloth, and these dont even look like covers once on.

I am curious how the original cloth will look when I take Clazzios off in a few years.

I can't imagine them looking any worse than if you left them uncovered for a few years.

Yeah I got my truck in October and was not planning to get any kind of seat covers but after only a few months of just normal use my seats are getting a little beat up so I am going to have my buddy deep clean them with his carpet van and then I'm going to put these covers on so my seats don't look like shit in a few years.

Little tree air fresheners. Clazzio black leather seat covers.
So there's been a few people that have asked what's used to clean the seats.
Since its my thread and I've had clazzios before, I figured I'd chime in.
I found that Mother's VLR (Vinyl, Leather Rubber) works GREAT! and it smells good to.
I found it to clean and keep the seats looking amazing good looking.

No hype here. Same ol covers Same ol story. Another happy camper.

I only got to the front two so far

It's on pretty damn tight and I expect it to dewrinkle and fit better as time passes

I don't know if anyone has mention it but it actually feels better too because of the soft memory foam or whatever

    Grey.

I went with grey because it matches stock cover color and less heat

Little relieved to see yours has the same extra crease as mine. It must be from the way they package and ship them. I was sorta worried I had a flaw. Where the vertical and horizontal20160324_204757.jpg stitchings meet20160324_204757.jpg My crease is very very slowly going away.

Vehicle under construction.. Some assembly required. (delivery expected mid-end of June)
Hi, folks - first post. Does anyone know if you can remove the plastic panel on the back of the rear seats, and re-install it over these seat covers? I like that panel being plastic, as I plan to put camping gear, power tools, and my dog in there with the seats folded down quite a bit. All photos i've seen of the rear seats folded down show the cover over the plastic panel. I'm ordering parts while waiting for my order to come in (2-3 months from now - just ordered..this site is terrible for a wallet).
    Thanks, all, for your help!

Just go to Home Depot and get a piece of entryway carpet in dark grey. It's basically the EXACT same size as both seats when they are folded down. When you're not using it just roll it up and store it behind the seats. Cost me about $15.

my clazzios just arrived, dark grey, have not had time to install them. I am stoked but also kinda bummed. these will add some vertical height to the seat, taking away the 1/4 inch that I had to clear the moon roof. I have so far only placed the covers on the seat and tried them and not actually installed them as I dont have time right now. pretty sure that once I do install them I am going to have to modify the moon roof bezzle so I get back that extra 1/2 inch of head space. I love the new 2016, but I am really confused at how little vertical space the viewing provides and how high the seats are. IS the average person driving this truck really about 5'8" ? it just does not fit guys that are over 6' with a medium to long torso. Anyway, looks like I will need to mod the bezzle if I go with these... but wet Okoles did the same thing... and any decent seat cover is going to add height. Only the super cheap crappy ones didnt add any height.

I'm 6'2" and have no issues with the Clazzios, but then again I don't have a moonroof.
