In our search for a manual transmission, we had to settle for cloth seats. Has anyone had the Clazzio synthetic leather for awhile? How's it holding up? We are planning on the real leather at this point, but if we can save a few hundo...

Also wondering about the longevity of the synthetic. The warranty is way less, so I was worried about that

There’s a few good Clazzio threads if you search.

You're right and I've read through a chunk of them. Seems they are more focused on the real leather though. I saw multiple questions about the synthetic that went unanswered so I thought this would be a more direct way of getting answers.

I don’t know if anyone has installed the full PVC covers. Even the Clazzio website says they are for show only, may not hold up to daily use. Even the leather ones are PVC on the sides and for the head rest covers. The only real leather is the middle of the seat and the middle of the back.
I left my review in the Clazzio thread from my recent install. If the full PVC covers are made similar to the sides of the leather seats, I don’t think they would hold up long as a daily driver. It’s not the same quality of pleather you’ll find stock from car manufacturers. For an extra $100 you can move up to the leather, which I’m still up on the air if they will hold up over the years. I was disappointed the covers were just a typical made in China product.
But for $499 with the Tacoma World discount, I guess it was worth the experiment as I hate cloth seats.

I've had them in my 08 for over 3 years now. Daily driven and constantly exposed to direct sunlight and high temps here in Phoenix. Still look brand new. No tears, no fading, no stretching, etc. Still fit and look great.

This quote of mine is about 2 years old now. 4 years later, still the best purchase I've made for my truck, definitely do not spend your money on the real leather option.
The PVC set is amazing, anybody who enters my truck is shocked that the interior is not factory leather when I tell them.

I recall Clazzio seat covers are Made in Japan,
There is also an option for assembly in US.

I have had mine for a year and went with PVC due to two young kids and a dog and they are superb. Cleaning is super easy and coworkers think I reupholstered my truck with leather seats. I would definitely go the PVC route again in the future when/if these ever wear out.

Mine had “made in China” printed on the box in big bold letters. I’m curious if anyone selected to get a custom color combo and paid the extra $150 for rush production, if indeed they are made in the USA. If so, I’m assuming the actual raw materials (PVC and leather) still come from China.
