I have the clazzios with the leather inserts. My driver's side seat started to develop a crease, then a crack in the vinyl side portion of the seat bottom and was replaced by clazzio after sending them a picture, since it was within the three year warranty period. However, I do believe the it had more to do with where the placement, as opposed to the material.

Yes, the memory foam definitely makes the seat a lot more comfortable in my opinion. I really disliked the factory seats in the 3rd gen when compared to the 2nd gen. I noticed my back was never really in a comfortable position, but the clazzios fixed that! I’m 6’2, so maybe it’s just my back going out lol

I usually never comment when threads get nasty but your train of thought and interpretation of a conversation is interesting. You should google straw man argument.

I figured you were both from California, and a liberal.

Nope, I am neither. Just think it's kinda lame to eat the cow and throw the skin away.

So all Californians are snowflakes? C'mon man I live in Cali and I'm a gun toting tree burning mofo. Just because our legislators are a certain way, doesn't mean we all are. Stop projecting.

I have the PVC outer and leather inserts. They're a bit expensive, a real beotch to put on... but WELL WORTH IT! They look great. I have the all black with the ORANGE stitching (my truck's color is INFERNO).

Also... great time to do the seat heater mod if you're thinking about it.

I have a daughter who lives in California and she is a snowflake so perhaps my opinion is a bit opinionated. I will learn to differentiate between Cali people and Cali Government.

Sounds like you have a better argument to present than I. Please enlighten me/us. Also I don't agree my stance was fallacious. That's my opinion. He implied lithium ion batteries are saving the planet. I said they aren't. How is that straw man? If I said flying cows will save the planet, that might make sense.

Agreed. Almost all "real" leather used in cars is bonded leather. The same leather you get on cheap furniture. That leather is usually a super thin strip of leather or leather scraps with a layer of colored polyurethane imprinted with a texture over it. High end leather is usually Nappa leather and you won't see it on most cars; it's usually an option on high end luxury cars even if it's available. My old C55 had nappa leather and that was a huge difference between bonded leather in mid range "luxury" vehicles.

For our trucks just get faux leather.

I'm here for cheesecake and bacon...

Oh, if I had extra cash for the leather (what $600 bucks), I would do leather. Since that goes to kiddo college fund/retirement (beer fund), I am sticking with stock seats. Overall, spend the extra few hundred and get leather.

hey there - i am looking at getting the pvc clazzios -- seems as if you had them for a while now. any complaints? are they holding up well? do they trap moisture? do you have oem heated seats? if so -- do the heated seats take longer to activate?

Seats will take a little longer to heat up because of the added layer.

So by synthetic, are you all talking about the PVC material. $399 seems pretty steep

I live in a climate that is in the single digits in winter and in the triple digits in summer. How do Clazzio leather or PVC seats handle those conditions? Do the seats get really hot? Less concerned about cold; more concerned about heat. Does leather or PVC do better in the heat?
