Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
I avoid that stuff as it's a dust magnet. If my truck saw all asphalt mileage it would make sense, but with all the dirt I see that'd just give it something worse to stick to.

I've noticed the same and started using it only on interior.

Hard to keep the engine or truck clean with all of the road construction. I wash and wax the truck once a day I just gave that up about 3 days ago I can't go 1 mile without driving in mud from road construction. I might put the newer hood on with a functional intercooler scoop so I haven't repainted the cover. It's a 3.0 turbo diesel maybe next year's project is the 4.1 turbo diesel with a new transmission.

Take it out and thrash it,
Bring it in and clean it up.

I like to keep it nice

Just about as clean as mine has ever been (129k miles now). I do need to find a replacement for that acorn nut on the engine trim. Right now I just have a vacuum cap over the top of it to provide friction.

^^^ Dont feel bad I lost one of those for a while too ^^^

It magically reappeared in the bolt bin mixed in with all the other random nuts and bolts.

At least I didnt drop it down into the skid plate black hole.

    Lookin good!

Here’s my 2015 with 50k. Gunk cleaner and dressing - little brushing if needed and light rinse. Cover up my aux fuse box and that’s about it. 823BF62B-1564-4BE3-A3E6-17EFCE1A7CC3.jpgC6E674FA-1AE4-4E54-8844-325B6A0B415F.jpg
