The Morimoto LED headlights are installed and they are a huge improvement over the stock halogen lights in terms of form and function.

I also lowered the Bilsteins from the 5th perch to the 4th perch and had another alignment done. The WeBoost hasn’t arrived yet but that should be here any day.

Thanks!! Yeah I mean they fit and look like they came with the truck. If they wind up being crappy I’ll certain post about it so other people don’t spend the money. Right now they seem amazing though.

Yep same. I still have my OEM lights, and I’m thinking I may just go ahead and black out the housings since I have them removed. Then if I do have to put them back on they’ll at least look cleaner.

That’s not a bad idea, I kept mine as well in case I ever need them.

I’ve considered both. I didn’t like how heavy the 285 mud terrains I ran were, so if I did 285’s again I would do an all terrain this time. If I went to a 255 skinny I would go with the ST Maxxx.

I will probably stick with my 265/75/16’s though because they’re so practical and they do everything I need. The 255 coopers are way too expensive and the only other options are mud terrains which aren’t practical for how much highway driving I do.

Going up to 285’s would cost too much in terms of fuel and cutting/trimming.

They're 285/75/16 Cooper ST Maxx. Have about 5200 miles. I don't drive that much anymore. I just put them on in June of last year

You probably won't have to cut anything :boink:
    And they're not that big..

lol. I do love the St Maxx’s but I researched the 285’s a while ago and they’re just too heavy for my liking. I’m tuned but still on stock gears so I’m trying to keep it light-ish.

You thinking of making the switch to 255 St Maxx’s or something else? I love the truck by the way.

If no one wants to trade, then ill stay with these. But yes I would do ST Maxx again. They're my favorite tire. Briefly had another brand, but they tore the sidewall super easily, so i went back.

But I also kind of want to try KM3s in 255/85.

Do you need to test fit my wheels to get an idea?

I do hear a lot of good things about the KM3’s. Lol noo, I don’t need to test fit. I know I would have to do some trimming and cutting for 285’s since I just lowered my Bilsteins to the 4th perch.

How do you like the St Maxx’s for on road driving? I do a ton of highway driving in addition to off roading so I need something that’s relatively quiet. I hear they’re really good on wet pavement which is a huge thing for me.

I think they drive great on pavement. I have to really try to break traction in the wet too. I really need to go offroad more, but lately not much time

You're welcome to test fit or drive my truck if you want. There are way more other noises that I pay attention to than tire noise haha. Still new tires, so they shouldn't be loud

I appreciate it! I might take you up on that at some point. I’ve been considering the St Maxx’s in 265 because they’re way cheaper than the skinnies and they run big, which I like.

I just wish the 255’s weren’t so absurdly expensive. I did the math and 4 of them would be the same as like 6 truck payments for me. If they were cheaper I would have bought them years ago.

I think they're just a couple $ different than the 285s in terms of price? I think I paid $1500 last year (ouch) for 5

Yikes, yeah that sounds about the same as the 255’s.

They’re one of my top contenders. I would like to run a 3PMS tire again but all the reviews I’ve read about the Maxx lead me to believe they are just as good in the wet and snow as most 3PMS tires.
