    @abou824 Another thing I forgot to mention earlier when you asked, my speedometer is 100% accurate with 265’s. It was slightly off with the stock 245’s and obviously it wasn’t accurate with 285’s.

    So it’s nice to know that the speedometer and odometer are accurate. I’ll have to get a speedometer calibrator if I go up in size because I would want things to stay accurate.

    I remember back in 80's that people had their cars with big tires in rear and skinny tires in front on the public road which they weren't concerned about speed no matter if it's accurate or not.

    I don't care if the speed is accurate or not if I upgrade my tires to bigger ones since it will be off road truck anyway.

    Very good point, gonna start looking at speedo calibrators now!

    It seems like hypertech and rough country are really the only options and they have to be hard wired into the truck :rolleyes:

    It’s been a while since I looked though because I’ve been sticking with the 265’s.

    :rofl::rofl:

    Right?? Now we’ll see if I actually keep these. They’re already riding much better than the g003’s I had a while ago.

    I'm trying to decide if dropping 5k on a suspension is a good idea lol. And what kinda camper to get.

    OooOhh what suspension set up are you considering?

    A camper is a big one too, that’s a game changer.

    Nice. I’ve been very happy with my 5100’s but I also don’t do any rock crawling or anything.

    Neither do I. But the terrain out here is different. I went out for bit a few weeks ago and my stock suspension was worse than back east. But I didn't air down at all.

    I did have mine air down before wheeling off road back in 2020. It helps lot but I get stuck in deep mud sometimes. Good thing that people were there to get me out with the winch and stuff.

    Off road is lot of fun but it can be scary depending on what type of trail you go to.

    yeah airing down makes a big differance. look up flagpole knob, that's the first trail I did, did completely stock with the street tires it came with. we went up the union springs side which is the harder side, most people go down it. I just scraped my bottom once going up a ledge. these trucks are so capable out of the box.

    Good lord, you did that with the OEM tires?? I hope your truck at least came with the Goodyears. Mine had those horrendous Toyo highway tires that are probably worth $20 a piece.
