Actually no, not this time for once. (Picture is in my build thread of what was purchased.)

I’ve had the Desert Does It Seat Jackers under my seat for a year or two now, just got a second set and put them under the passenger seat. Love these things.

Those things saved the truck for me. After driving from MD to FL the first time my legs were not happy. Now I just need to regear and hope that helps this little 4 banger out.

Yeah I think they hands down make the biggest difference in comfort of any mod I’ve done. I had no back pain driving from MD to MT last year. The wife recently started to complain of back pain after longer drives so I got them for her now too.

You also can’t beat the price and ease of installation.

    Congrats..

I bought mine and I got loan for 7 years but in one month after I bought, the check sent to the loan dept via mail. BOOM! PAID!

I went to the first free service which I had 2 year free car care at Toyota, the dealer who made a loan for me, said "You are here to pay truck payment?" I said "No. It's paid off. I brought my truck in for service." He got confused look on his face.. lol.

Yes, congratulations! Best mod. Only 24 out of 72 months left at 1.9%. Times flies! Invested the total owed instead of paying in full up front. The freed up cash flow in 2 years will be a nice added bonus tho.

Amidst the excitement over paying the truck off, I forgot to mention that my new Yokohamas arrived. Probably won’t be going on until the end of the month but they look like the perfect tire for my needs. They’re more aggressive in person that I was expecting, which is great. Confirmed with my scale that they only weigh 54 pounds, and they have the 3PMS rating…I couldn’t ask for more!

Those are going to look great on your truck!

you going to do the pinch weld mod or viper cut now that it’s paid off

I don’t have any plans to do the pinch weld, I have definitely thought about the viper cut in the past but I feel like it would just look weird without a bumper and bigger tires. Maybe I’ll reevaluate once I get the 33’s on the truck.

I think the most likely next real mod would be a re-gear next year although I doubt I’ll really need it since these tires are so light.

Good points. I like the way the front looks with the viper cut but not the side.

Im not sure if I rub on the pinch weld or fender flares on some bumps like pulling in or out of driveway
