Just being 33s gives a great look.

Well, why not both? I've still got the set of 34" mud tires!!!! Then you get taller and cool points!!!

    Hahaha stop that.

I 100% could see myself going up a size in this tire when sit set wears out though…

Then come down here and see how it looks... then you can run 2 sets of the same size. One MT, one more HT... just saying it's a killer deal.

I should have kept that extra set that simple tire sent me and then I could have one MT set, one set of all terrains, and one MORE set of all terrains

Plus the set of Maxxis MTs that are in my basement.

    Thanks @TAZMINATOR!!

@paulisinataco lol my sincerest apologies, I’m still trying to figure out what works best for me too  I’ll check out the video shortly, that sounds like an interesting premise.

@Roof Walker I absolutely love them. I wish I hadn’t done my first go at 33’s with the g003 mud terrains because they caused such a decline in driveability that I was scared to try 33’s again for the longest time. These feel even better than my 265/75/16 Maxxis MTs on the road, probably because they’re lighter (I’m just talking about acceleration and braking). I won’t ever go back down, that’s for sure.

Forgot to mention… I did discover some minor rubbing today on the wheel well. It seems to only happen in reverse at full lock. So that will get taken care of next week at the same time as the alignment and speedo calibrator.

They going to do any cutting or just hoping the alignment takes care of it? I think you said before they’ll trim if needed.

Maybe it’s time for you to get the viper cut? I saw a decent one that left the side looking pretty much in tact.

What’s the overall height of the tire? Mines 32.8 I think. I can’t remember if I measured mounted.

These are 32.9 according to the Yokohama website.

The shop is going to do the alignment first and see if they can fix the rubbing that way, if not they’ll start cutting lol.

I think the viper cut would definitely be overkill in this situation because it’s maybe like a quarter inch of plastic that’s rubbing on one side

Why not save yourself some money and use a heat gun to reshape the plastic instead of having a shop do it?

I need to get an alignment done anyway! It’s been quite a while since I’ve had one.
