Well, another successful trip in the books. Logged a little over 1,000 miles over the last week.

Big thanks to @Santana@Realtruck and the people at Real Truck for sending out some swag just for entering their competition last month. This magnetic coozie is awesome; holds up a full can! (It’s attached to my refrigerator door)

I am very impressed with these wipes for the interior….

    C32294EC-8A9D-4D99-BC4A-770372F6DFDB.jpg

I’ve been a life long user of Armor All but their wipes were destroying some of my black plastic surfaces and leaving weird residue behind. I had tried soap and water and rubbing alcohol, pretty much everything to fix what the Armor All wipes did to my truck but nothing worked. I had given up and was about ready to order some replacement parts from Toyota.

I can’t believe it but these Meguiar’s wipes actually fixed it. The interior of my truck looks cleaner and more “new” than the day I bought it.

Just wanted to throw it out there because these wipes are far superior to the armor all. They also smell amazing lol

lol thanks for remembering that though!! Still waiting

it’s officially been over 5 months and they still won’t even tell me an estimated delivery date. It is going to be by far my favorite mod when it comes though. And then the exterior of the truck will be done.

I hope so!! My next road trip is in September. As long as I have it by then I won’t be too upset.

I was just looking through some old photos and forgot I took this one. Side by side comparison of the stock tires and the General Grabbers. It’s hard to believe they sell these trucks with such small tires from the factory.

I’ve had the Grabbers on the truck for just over 10K miles now and absolutely love them.

    Actually 265/75/16!

I want 285’s but I do so much highway driving and so many long trips that I think it would really kill my wallet with the MPG drop. Plus I think they would probably rub?

285 would rub but if you get lift, it won’t rub.

If you don’t want to get lift, then you modify the part where the rub is so it won’t rub anymore.

I understand about MPG issue with big tires. If it was me, I don’t care about MPG as long as I have secondary car.

That’s about what I figured. Yeah I don’t have a secondary car lol.

I’m thinking about going with Toyo Open Country’s when the Grabbers wear out. I love the Grabbers but I really want to try a C load tire. I did the math and the truck would be 40 pounds lighter with the Toyos.

That’s a long way away though.

The funny thing is that you didn't even size up that much and it makes a world of difference as far as improving the appearance of the truck. Sorta makes your point right then and there.

Yeah I totally agree. In the taco community these are like the baby aftermarket tires but they’re monsters compared to the stock Toyo’s lol

What’s wrong with Toyota? I mean, look at Ford that they released latest truck that has big tires instead of street tires. Raptor for example.

    Toyota needs to keep up.

Nothing that I’m aware of! I love my taco, wouldn’t want any other truck.

i am not talking about the truck itself. I was talking about tires. Factory should put off road tires instead of street tires.

Rad truck, I like these subtle builds that look kinda stock from afar.
