I dont have a camper top, just a hard tonneau cover and I find that the mat really helped shut the rear end up in terms of vibrations and random noises back there. Also it's so grippy that even without being tied down, things like tool boxes, tackle boxes, gas canisters etc dont budge when driving around.

Prob the easiest mod out there but instantly gratifying lol

Finally! The cap looks great!

I have bed mat on mine.. but it hurts my knees a bit.. The bed mat isn't soft. I prefer bedrug similar to the cap headliner. I plan to have that done sometime.

 

lol yeah man that sounds like it’s well worth the money. I always see people around the forum talking about the bed mat but I never looked into it at all.

The bed mat was the fist thing I bought. Had one in my old truck and had to have one when I got the one I got now. The bed is slick and this stickies it up.

 

You never know. Keep an eye out for one.. It could be on here or any marketplace out there.. such as FB, classifieds, etc.

Last I heard at the time I got my truck from the dealer lot... the mat cost about 45 dollars... it could be higher now.

Holy shit, I just looked at the link in @18CHUÑO post.. Cost $115. Damn.

 

Definitely sounds like it’s worth it, especially for having luggage and stuff in the back that would be sliding around usually.

That’s a built-in clothing hangar. I figured I would add something for the wife to make her happy lol. This way she can hang up her nicer stuff when we’re going on long road trips. Doesn’t have to get all wrinkled up in bags.

 

Oh yeah I remember seeing that in the cap catalog at the time I ordered the cap.

 

That's so funny! I'm buying a bed mat today. Found it on Craigslist for $40.

 

That's good deal. It was new at dealership which it was 45 dollars at the time when I got my truck from them. I got it for free, it was lucky. Whew.
