    Just a reminder/thought.

With all the fires, soot and ash, y'all should think about inspecting, blowing/cleaning out or replacing your air filters if you've been driving a lot. Don't forget the cabin filter on the newer vehicles.

Some of that crap can can get into the oil too, so keep an eye on it. Probably not the best time to do an endurance test of the Walmart Brand 5W-30W.

    Same with furnace a/c filters.

My shop gave out free filters to victims of fires when we had major one a few years back.

Think about O2 sensors also. Some years back I was way too close to a large fire. Sucked in a lot of smoke and ended up replacing the sensor.

Filters are an idea if you live where it's really bad. Especially your house AC ones.

I checked my wife's air filter today, she's been driving, and it wasn't too bad. The cabin filter looked like crap thought. Probably because it's more exposed and it's a downward trip straight to the filter.

Checking mine real soon. I have the AFE reusable filters. Going to wash and oil them again!

I need to clean the pool filter too. It's probably a real mess between the dog swimming everyday and the ash.

Yah I know the dog has a rough life. o_O

Purchased new cabin filter for my taco and the wife’s 4Runner. I just replaced mine earlier this year and my wife’s rig is less than a year old, but with all the ash it’s worth the few minutes and couple bucks to replace for sure.
