    Sorry if discussed already....

How, or what is the best way to clean the evaporator?
I am not sure its even that dirty, but bought the truck new in 2016 and figure its a good time to check and see and clean if need be.

    Cleaner recommendations (soap and water??)
Methods to get to and clean said evaporator?

    Thank you for any input.

No links, but I've read you spray a foam cleaner up the drain tube filling the air box thus soaking the evaporator. Try you tube and google.

This is what I used. For me it seems I have to do it twice a year A/C will start getting a real nasty smell.

This worked well for me. It's a 2 part kit. One foam that goes up the AC drain and a spray to shoot in the air intake. I found the one labeled Subaru is cheaper than Toyota for the same thing.
