I have a Leer with the removable window, and in the 14 years that it's been on my truck I've only removed it to clean the glass between the cab and the shell one time. I do get what I can with the wash mit when I wash my truck, and hit it pretty hard with the power washer a couple of times a year from each side, but that's it.

With already looking thru multiple layers of tinted glass the dirt on the glass doesn't really bother me.....

I lifted my topper back last year. Cleaned the glass well and applied
    https://www.turtlewax.com/products/hybrid-solutions-ceramic-wax-spray-coating-16-fl-oz

Because of cure time (24hrs) I only applied one coat (I wanted to place my topper back)

At the wand wash, I soap and rinse that area well and it helps to keep glass cleaner

Seems to repel the dirt better after wand wash and less water staining

I'll do it again when spring cleaning and waxing my truck

I like to see clearly out of all my glass

    OH BUT WAIT
This rocket scientist (cheapskate) who likes to see out of all his glass
Didn't take option of slider or folding rear window on the topper
    You know
SO YOU CAN CLEAN GLASS EASIER

Why don't y'all just "floss" the gap with a wet towel? I clean my rear window pretty easily doing it this way
