Has anyone tried using an orbital polisher with a compound to clean up the composite bed?

Are there any effective methods of scrubbing it clean (other than by hand)?

I've always just pressure wash it, for a detergent I use a little bit of formula 88 cleaner, it's highly effective and really pretty cheap, you can get it at Lowe's or home Depot, once it's clean I spray it down with 303 aerospace protectorant. Just a heads up, until the 303 soaks in and is absorbed it can make both the bed and the bed mat extremely slippery, I actually just did all of this yesterday and at one point getting out of the truck nearly lost it and busted my ass. The best part of the 303 is it can keep the bed mat supple and grippy again once it's been absorbed until then the bed mat is really slippery, if you super saturate it like I like to do it can take a day or two to fully absorb and dry out.

For the actual bed I scrub it with soap and water with a pole brush and the same with the mat. If I have dings I just spray paint it once it dries, mines a work truck and pretty beat up, so I just sprayed the whole thing once then touch up with same color.
If you go to a diy wash, just don't forget the mat if you take it out, did that once.

@Too Stroked any recommendations here for protection/looks after a good cleaning is completed?

I've found 303 to be a waste of money beyond the first rain/snow/wash, as it's not really durable.

I was going to recommend 303 - with the warning that it washes off in the first rain storm. There are some dyes available for black textured plastic trim that might work, but I don't have any personal experience with them. I have a tonneau cover on my truck, so I don't worry about it. Sorry.

Sweep it every once an a while and pressure wash a few times a year. It’s a bed of the truck so it can be as dirty as it wants to be.

It depends on what you use your truck for. Mine does double duty, from hauling manure and hay to hauling my fishing gear and even my laundry. That said, I like to keep my stuff as clean as practical. My Tacoma is probably the last vehicle I'll own and I want it to go the distance. After all, it did cost a boat load of loot and I like to keep it looking as good as it can....

I just bought a used 2020 TRD Off-road and the previous owner must have mixed concrete in the bed. Just kidding, but there are several spots of dried cement in the texture of the bed.

What can I use to clean it off?

Is it safe to use diluted muratic acid on the composite bed?

You can probably use dilute Muriatic acid on the bed, but I highly doubt it will take off hardened concrete. The bigger issue will more likely be other stuff that the acid will come in contact with when you apply and rinse it. There are more than enough steel and electrical parts that might not fare as well underneath the bed. If you want my 2 cents, I wouldn't do it.

Agreed, I wouldn't use muriatic acid either. Is the concrete that bad? How thick is it? Maybe chisel that shit off. Or paint it to match the bed.
I fall under the, "It's a truck bed" group of thinkers and believe extensive cleaning is a little bit of wasted time.
