The hitch electrical connector on my 08 has corroded to the point where I am losing contact. I have the Sport tow package. What is a good product/method to clean it off? It’s difficult to get at due to how it’s designed.

    Thanks for the insight.

Buy the Honda trailer light connector and transfer your wires into it.

Once you get them clean slap some dielectric grease in there and on your plug.

You can take a thin piece of sandpaper and wrap around each terminal to sand. Then either put dielectric grease or fluid film on to prevent further corrosion.
