    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    It should last alooooonnnggggg time. If it starts to fall apart, rust (mesh), or degrade, then replace it.

    Lots.
    I haven't changed or cleaned my TRD filter since I got it (like a year and half ago).

    Am I losing a measurable amount of performance because of this?

    Not enough
    This is probably a dumb question but how are you supposed to take out the filter? Are you supposed to remove the tube from the box? or can you just unclip and lift up? kinda confused. and how often should i be cleaning/replacing it. Ive had this one about a year and a half with 15k miles. Thanks for any input.
