I'm skeptical they would last. And I'm not a fan of the look

Just not worried about those areas... Only protected the areas that are high impact zones with constant streams of debris hitting at high speeds. I'm traveling but will share a picture of my back fenders when I'm back. They're so badly pitted it's unreal after only 3 months. That would've been my paint

Well first I'll powder coat them, then linex them, then clear bra, and then maybe another layer of linex. I mean you can never be too safe

Actually, I think I'm going to bubble wrap my entire vehicle this afternoon

And the leather seats inside + the steering wheel, wouldn't want to get those dirty

I went ahead and applied clear bra to my windows of my garage that houses my bubble-wrapped truck.

It just seems like a loosing battle to try and protect the paint of a truck your going to wheel, even if it is light. If its a pavement princess then I guess I understand, especially because alot of subaru guys do it, and suburu and toyota seem to attract the same people. I just then have a hard time understanding the point of a mall crawler. Just seems like its wasted money. Obviously not a common opinion, but just my 2cents.

i can see why a lot of the people who ride the dunes would want it, sand is a bitch

here in the north east where wheeling is a bit tighter, idk i think here we are more prone to dented body panels

there will always be pros and cons with every scenario
