This thread is painful to read... I should’ve put film on my car the day after I got it. I have way to many rock chips already.

Mud flaps seem to do nothing.. Least not for me. My sliders help.

Got my whole front done in Clear Bra before my drive from Miami to Alaska. 360$ installed and it saved my front. 0 Rock chips. I need to redo it however due to a dumpster flying into the side of it. Body shop had to replace the passenger fender, repair the door and front bumper. That involved blending into the hood and taking off my Clear Bra.

Did you cut it yourself or have a company insalled? I did black vinyl on the lower doors. Might put that back on.

Jake how is it holding up to this day? 3M or Xpel? Just picked up an 2019. Plan on doing full front... but sounds like I should do full body.

I'm also curious how it's holding up. I debated doing it when I first got my truck which I then declined. Unfortunately, I was recently peppered by a dump truck full of gravel that didn't have it's gate closed all the way so The whole front of my truck needed to be repainted. Now I'm again interested. If I would have done it to begin with I would have averted most of the 7k in repair. Which brand of PPF are people running?

3M is outdated. I have expel ultimate on all my cars. My cars are out in the Las Vegas area and no yellow. One car is white and would show any yellowing, but no yelling
