Yes, expensive to me, but not to someone who could afford to pay that to protect their vehicle. I bet they drive a top-tier car. $6,700 probably wouldn't buy the air out of the tires. Doing everything back to the windshield is $1,900.

Yes of course. Here is the link: https://www.autoanything.com/lights/xpel-headlight-protection

Xpel uses much thicker film for their headlight protection kit and it is always perfectly cut, unlike some other companies. However thickness comes at the price of a more difficult installation, especially on the curvy lights like Tacoma. I should be getting mine sometime on Tuesday and can update when I install them.

    I paid about $1600 Canadian for;
    Front Bumper
    Grille Surround
    Headlights, Mirrors, Door handle Cups
    Front Fenders
    Hood
    Leading Edge of roof (24")
    A-Pillars
Rocker Panels between doors and behind rear wheels

Auto Protectors in Calgary AB. They did a great job.

I did the Xpel film for my headlights and foglight and love it. I had it done on my other cars as well because I hate the look of cloudy headlights.

I have Chiprotect by Iden's installed on my front bumper, hood, headlights, mirrors, door handle cups, and grille area. I think it's a good investment since I plan on keeping my truck for a long time. The only regret I have is not having the rocker panels done but I plan on getting that area covered soon. I thought about Line-X for the rockers but too expensive for me and not the look I want.

Dont let stealership do it. Theyvare a ripoff. You could do it yourself or else hite someone off classified. I did my entire truck for $1000. Invcludes. Hood, bumper, grille shroud, headlights, fogs, side mirrors, a-pillar, leading edge of roof, entire bottom half of truck, front to back, door handles, entire bushwacker flairs. 437E1A67-96AF-4A6D-9805-7BFDD6B39486.jpg

I didn't get the choice thanks to "Dealer Adds" on an in-stock truck. That said, I'm not upset about it. Has it on the hood and a few other spots close to the wheel wells. Driving Texas oil roads with that has paid off already.

I had the dealer include it as part of the vehicle price. Then I go out and pinstripe the truck up and down both sides on the trail :anonymous:. Seriously, it's held up nicely on our 2013 Lexus and protected the paint well.

Got the truck back from the dealership the other day after the digishield install. Seems to be well installed... Although for $1200, I wish they would’ve protected the entire hood. It only covers the first 1/3 of the hood, and the line across bugs me. Minor, but still annoying.

I've got a black truck am planning to get ceramic coating on it instead of a clear bra. I've seen old clear coat bras that look worse than a few paint chips.

Given the expense, be sure to add this on your auto insurance policy. It'll be a custom line item. Well worth it if you ever get in a wreck or film damaged by your actions.

Can you buy whole rolls of xpel to do it yourself? I've seen smaller rolls 2 ft wide on Amazon but there must be larger dimensions out there
