Clear coat failed on wheel trim.. suggestions?

    LED interior lights. Steering wheel mod. New radio. Amp, speakers and sub woofer.
    It'll be hard to sand it and re-clear. If you look at it, there's a little texture to the flare. It's not smooth. You risk sanding it off if you go to far. I had to replaced my driver side. With part and painting by a body shop, it was roughly $400. That was just as covid hit so I imagine the price for the part has gone up since.

    I know this is an old thread but my flares just started to peel within the last week but is peeling fast. A hard rain yesterday really opened up a few big spots. Body looks good. Had roof and hood painted 2 years ago so they look great. I plan on getting a quote from the shop that did my hood and roof which was $980. Anyone have the part numbers for the weatherstrip under the flares (2008 model). Truck only has 88k miles so any investment is worth it to me as I plan on the truck outliving me.     I actually found a full cheap set line-x coated in speedway blue. Debating on buying those.
