    Why not?

Not everything has to be a practical decision. I put mud tires on my truck and I'd have to hit the interstate to find some mud. I also knew MT would be the worse tires for the driving I do, I was looking at cooper ATPs/AT3s the other day, mainly because I didn't intend on running the MT all the time.

I use to run winter tires on a mini Cooper too which was great when the snow accumulation was under one inch.

    Toyotas and T/As go together.

I have seen a MK4 Jetta wagon, with some kind of lift and KO2s, the owner is probably spending most of their time on pavement.

    OP truck looks good.

They work great- this is this AM when I started in Asheville, NC. Add another 4-5" on top of this:

As for off road- they are great:

And yes, even in mud and wet rock:

Like your new wheels- planning to do the same when my tires die- if ever, lol!!

On those wheels I'd powdercoat them black. Fixes the clearcoat issue.

Got about 4-5 inches of snow, gonna go test out my shitty Ko2's. I live on a steep hill so let's see how it makes it up the hill.

Handled all this snow shit like a boss. And let me also say that my new Hawk 5.0 performance rotors and pads are amazing at stopping especially when you turn the ABS off
