Clear Recall Notice on Radio Screen

I tried searching but came up empty. I had my recall taken care of last Wednesday and the recall notice on the info screen is still alerting me I have an active recall. Is there a way to clear this myself? I sure hope I don't have to go back to the dealer for it!

 

Call and ask.

 

If he calls twice it would be a recall.

 

Mine alert showed up on the way home from having my recall service at the dealers. Hasn't shown up since. I suspect that your dealer neglected to report your VIN to THQ.

 

Spoke with the dealership- They said it typically takes about a week for the alert to go away.

^ What this gentleman said. I asked why my HU notification was still coming up when I picked it up. Essentially the dealership has to submit the paperwork to Toyota that the recall was done and then the mothership will ping your truck removing the notification. Sounds like your dealership may have been a little behind on paperwork. My notification has not come back since the day of the recall.
