    Mine look bad too but because the clear coat on the fender flares is peeling so badly I hardly notice it.

    Accidentally hitting them with a pressure washer will also remove them. :homer: I don't recommend it though.

    That's why I changed mine out. Trying to get the stain from red clay off and pretty much caused them to be trashed. Really didn't think that little electric Walmart pressure washer could do that.

    Follow-up. I tried several methods. The easiest was heat it up with a hair dryer, a heat gun, a propane torch, it doesn’t matter, just warm it up. Use a plastic razor/scraper, the kind you get at an auto store that has the replaceable plastic blades. Another poster in this thread recommended that. That is the best tool because of the fine plastic edge. It comes off pretty quick. If you scrape a little paint off, dab it with a dupli-color paint pen. The auto store has it in your paint color, for example mine is silver-streak and they had it in stock. Then clean it off and put the new rock guard on. This technique made it go pretty quick, I think about 20 minutes per side.
