Clearly a Scam

Why do people do this? If you're from California, you know this isn't what a neighborhood looks here. This looks like a neighborhood in Georgia or North Carolina. I keep getting my hopes up clicking on these damn ads.

The add seems right he says you can see it in person, the area code is from so cal, who knows i have ben to some areas that look like this in so cal. you might want to give him a call just to see what he says, another plus is he gives his phone number out not some generic email and the asking price for a 06 with 72 isn't too bad.

I don't think it's a scam... scams don't usually give out a phone number and they try to get you to pay to ship the vehicle to your area. I ran into a lot of those when I first started looking for a truck

Really? I see these type of ads like everyday on craigslist except they use different photos. Maybe I'm wrong though. Craigslist has got rid of most of the scams. Like the 2010 Double Cab TRD going for 2500 or an 2005 Acura TL going for 3900.

 

You should call and check it out. Worst that could happen is it be an actual scam and you start looking again. As long as they don't say they truck needs to be shipped to you or give him money via Western Union you should be fine.
