Cleat Paint Protectant Wrap

    I used to have a customer that would do wraps on high end cars. Changing it to a flat or doing the clear wrap for paint protection.

    Has anyone here looked into doing this themselves? I thought it would be a great idea to help protect against those minor scratches when going through the bushes. At least on the sides of the truck.

    Yes and it wasn't worth it. Sorry to be a downer, but there is a definite skill to what those guys do and it takes a lot of patience as well. I did it with my 2006 Impala back in the day and it turned out just OK. I've done my tailgate which is nearly flat but even that resulted in some bubbles and imperfections I had to fix. Look up the videos, etc. so you know what you're getting into.

    One other note - the film might not be as effective against brush pinstripes. Sharp stuff might catch on the film.
