cleghorn sun or mon???

I'm in but I might only go to pilot rock and skip cleghorn.

 

I think everyone has sliders not suree about skids I have both

 

I have sliders and my awesome heavy duty trd Skidplate up front.

 

Mr. Bullet - I tuned my radio today - switched back to the lil Wil - ended up having to set it as short as possible and then cut an 1/8 of an inch off of it. I was amazed how much 1/8 made! Now I understand the screw thing.

 

Lil wil is awesome...I just have to cut off a little more and I will be set.

LOL....work will help pay for my sliders!!! Wish I could come up though...missed out today wheeling.

I have a vanco antenna. It was what they had at fry's. I bought a bunch of stuff. looks like its from the 70's packaging was dated but I figured the technology hasnt changed.

 

I believe I have the same one. Havent got to use it yet. How does it work?

The one that Rick has is the Magnetic mount one...not the one like the firestiks

 

Its like a black fire stick. I had bought a magnet mount and used it with it. I had it mounted on the bed rail but it didn't seem to work right.

 

Ahhh I did see a mag mount that's why.

 

yeah I bought one of everything just in case. I hate getting home and needing something. I bought a couple different mounts a magnet base and the 4 foot fiberglass whip.

 

So you nip of the end of the antenna to tune it?


What time are we meeting at the cleghorn. anything at the exit? gas station or something.

 

I think that is how that one is tuned...the firestiks you turn the knob but the Fry's one does not have a knob so I think it has to be cut.

 

We normally meet the exit past Cleghorn. Its about 1/2 miles past. There are a few gas stations and a mcdonalds. We met at the mcdonalds on the right. Cant miss it. I will get the address.
