has anyone been up there recently? I'm going up there on Sunday with a buddy and I wanted to know if there was any mud still lingering. I know it a lower elevation than Big Bear but I was up at Big Bear a few weeks ago and there was mud and snow everywhere still. Just trying to avoid the mud and save myself a deep cleaning.

    Thanks.

I did Pilot Rock (the 'easy' portion not the harder portion) about a month and a half ago and there was still some snow around there but I bet it's all gone now. It's the same area as Cleghorn, Cleghorn meets up with Pilot Rock at the end.

I'd bet it's dry now but even the easy Pilot Rock trail was challenging in some parts now because of all the rain carving out much bigger ruts and narrowing parts of the trail. That would be my big concern now with the weather we had this past winter.

Gotcha, yea I would think everything would be dry by now. I guess I'll find out.

2 weeks ago Cleghorn was largely dry. A few wet bits, but no real mud. Quite rutted in places.

Been up there last week and it was dry. No mud or standing water. Be careful though as parts of the fire road pretty much looks like an of shoot now. Nothing too fancy but just want to give a heads up.
