Hi, I have a 2014 Toyota Tacoma 4WD with only 43,000 miles and recently I've noticed a clicking and knocking sound coming from what seems to be the dashboard. It only happens when the truck hits 65mph and higher. It's loudest once it hits 80mph and you can feel the knocking down by the pedals. I've taken the truck to a mechanic and they thought it was a tracker that was installed in the truck. They removed it but unfortunately it's still making the noise. If anyone has experienced this or has any insight I'd really appreciate it!! PLEASE HELP

    I've uploaded a video of the noise - https://youtube.com/shorts/njLb53BndWA?feature=share

One suggestion would be to unbolt the wiper cowl and see if anything under there is loose? Maybe when there's enough airflow over that area it starts to knock around and that could emit sound through the dashboard.

    Hmm . . . none as yet, that's why i'm here . . .
seems like 68 mph is your optimal speed.
But seriously . . . good recording and interesting.
I'm guessing something under hood is catching the breeze once your speed increases. Loose trim somewhere. Have someone follow you to see if they can see anything flapping on the outside/underside then have them in front of you and see if they can look back at you all while in motion.
Be sure to let us know.
