Clicking noise coming from rear end

    so u bolts should be first on my list?
    should a grease them before putting new ones?

    Not u-Bolts. Universal Joints in the drive shaft. Yes I would check those first.

    Pull the drive shaft out of the truck and manipulate each joint manually looking for a dry or tight joint.

    If not U joint could be the yoke. No zerk/grease fitting on the 05
    Mine did this but only would clunk 1 time on take off.

    Pre runner dosnt come with greasable u joints. That's how mine started and sure enough it was the u joints. I would go ahead and replace all 3 of them.
