Hey everyone, I just reached a 1000 miles today on my Taco, and for the past few days I've noticed a strange clicking sound from my front rear view mirror (or around that area). This happens incessantly as I drive around the city or highway. It is a little distracting and annoying. Does anyone else have this problem (or know of it)? Is there a quick fix for this issue or should I take it to the dealership? Hell, I could turn on the radio to mask the sound but sometimes I enjoy my quiet drives. Any input appreciated.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
Psychiatrist should be able to solve the issue. JK, I have no idea!

If you have a Sunroof sometimes some wires up there rattle around, also the dash will make noise over by the Speaker Grille and A Pillar.

I think there is a thread for the A pillar noise. It can hard to track down at first. It may be that.

push up on the headliner, right after the sunglass holder to see if it still clicks. Mine came from that area: on SR 5's, it would be the glasses holder for TRDOR's its where the MTS is. I first noticed it when the temp got below 50. Then, it went away when I was south where it was warm and came back when I got back north. If that's the case, it's an easy fix. pull the plastic part straight down (Yes, straight down. I shit myself when I did it; I was nervous as all hell) and that exposes the area that needs to be dealt with. a little silicone fixed it for me. I thought about double sided tape but figured that might get brittle over time and not stick.

Had the dealer look at mine for this reason, something with the lining inside, they put felt in there and it doesnt rattle anymore.
