I bought an additional 2006 TRD tacoma and I have a clicking noise above the glove compartment when I start the truck and when I adjust the ac controls it stops but eventually comes back. Any ideas on what it could be or how to fix it?

Empty your glove box, remove the cabin air filter cover, remove the cabin air filter, and check for debris in the fan and housing.

So I pulled the cabin filter and as I press the recirculation cabin air button I can see a port close above where the cabin air filter sits and just as it closes it starts to click...?

search for "blend doors" they can get out of adjustment or wires can slip and get in their path of travel
