has anyone else had clicking noises while driving? My truck only has 3000 miles and it all of a sudden developed this clicking migraine of a noise. There doesn't seem to be anything on the tires (rock, nails, screws). I also did a quick look over under the truck and around the wheels but cannot pin point anything that can be causing it.

I'm still planning on taking it to the dealership to get looked at, but I'm worried if they're not able to fix it then they'll just say "oh well, don't know what to tell you".

I'm really bummed having this issue on a brand new truck

Does the clicking speed up as you go faster or stay the same? Manual trans or auto?

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
You did all that "work" to a "brand new truck" and still call it a "brand new truck?" bruh.

If you haven't touched factory parts then take it in for a warranty, what's the question?

Hard to tell. It could be anything. Rock in tire, interior rattle, or a midget in your glovebox.

Check your glovebox, the plastic shelf inside is known to rattle, somewhat like a clicking plastic on plastic sound.

Do your best to isolate the region it is coming from. Inside, outside,,front , rear etc.

Tire speed ? is the clicking sound occurring at the same rate the tires are rotating
Driveshaft speed ? ( most common ) clicking starts off slow and increases as you go faster and eventually goes away at highway speeds
Driveshaft speed reverse ? do you hear the clicking when you reverse
Engine speed ? If you accelerate the engine in the driveway without moving the truck , can you hear the click ?
4x4 or 2 wheel drive ? does the clicking sound occur in both gear ranges ?
These are a few things to try in an attempt to narrow things down

Where you able to figure out the issue, did the dealer inform you on what it could be? I noticed a similar sound coming from my truck as you described.

Only thing I can input was a rattling noise for me that was the tweeter grill on the passenger side

wow I clicked on this thread because I have a rattle from my passenger tweeter too. I pulled the cover off and the tweeter out but didn't find anything obvious. its still there upon reassembly. its driving me crazy!

I hope we can figure this out. its clearly not a one off thing.

Haha I know I've read a couple of members post with the same issue. For me it's the grill Itself if my girlfriend presses on it the rattle goes away so I have to wedge something on the a pillar so it can press down on the grill. Just haven't gotten around to it

I have a 2016 Tacoma double cab and I noticed the same thing tonight.

When driving forward slowly I hear a ticking from the front passenger wheel. I do not hear it when idle or in reverse.

I can't tell if it is there in higher speeds.
