Lift up the front end spin the wheels around too, see if you can hear the noise. Check for wheel bearing play too

So did you ever catch this problem? I too have a clicking sound from the front driver side. It goes away when I press the brakes. Than usually won’t return until the truck has been sitting for a while.

No, I never did… it went away for a while. I don’t drive my truck as often anymore. I did notice it back about a week ago

2wd to ifs manual hubs, Arb front locker, supercharger.
Did you ever figure it out? I have a clicking sound on the driver side front, I lift the truck up and spin the wheel and it’s gone, I put weight back on the wheel and it’s back. I’m thinking wheel bearing. When I shimmy the wheel side to side, up and down there’s no play.

I figured mine out. It was the brake retaining clip. It was out of one hole.

To be honest I never “figured it out” but I did install a big brake kit not too long ago and the sound is no longer there so it may have been coming from the brake retaining clip as well
