    Because the 5 minutes YOU spend under there at home is time MUCH better spent than an hour (or more) at the dealer who will have their tech spray it with WD-40--and I will guarantee you will be back on here saying it was fixed and now the noise is back again. Notice how those of us who use the brake grease method aren't on here complaining about the creaking? Again, its your time and your truck, so do as you please but I've found it to be really easy to apply the grease with every oil change
