I'll start this by saying that I had backed my 21' Tacoma TRD into a post a few months ago (stupid I know) rather than fix it I've just been rolling with it and pricing aftermarket bumpers. Yesterday on a drive back from Montana I got a warning about the blind spot monitoring not working. Right after my climate control center quit working entirely. I checked the fuses and that's not the issue.

I looked at the sensor connecter and saw some corrosion there, so I'm wondering if you guys know if there is a connection between that sensor and the climate control. If so, i'll just purchase a new connector, re-splice the wires and then go about looking for a new bumper. I just don't want to pay a dealer if it's as simple as that. I live in Idaho and it's the dead of winter so not having a heater is a problem. All of the collision sensors are much less important and more of a nuisance in IMO anyhow.
