So everything is working properly, you are just stuck with the AC on and cannot turn it off? And you have already replaced the Control panel in the dash where the knobs, A/C and Recirc push buttons? If so then that seems to narrow it down to either wiring or the A/C Amplifier.

Yes, I am thinking that maybe the control panel I ordered is also defective since it was from a salvage but am debating on trying the amplifier first since the control panel is so much more $$$.

If the clutch is cycling then what is the problem? Do you have cold air coming out when the setting is on hot? Are you wondering why the clutch comes on when the setting is on windshield defrost?

The A/C can not be turned off, if the fan is running only cold air will come out despite the temperature setting and the A/C light remains illuminated. I was soliciting suggestions to troubleshoot before paying almost $1000 for a new control panel which now is what I am thinking it probably is.

So the a/c light is on all the time?

Have you checked the blend door?

Thank you everyone for your input and suggestions! It ended up being a failed control panel that was fixed this weekend with a new OEM Panel! No more bundling up for my 45 minute commute to work!
