Me too. I was looking around a bit a came across these. Like the look of them, the anodized could be Scotch brighted. Its the light I'm worried about. Then again its 12 bucks

*EDIT* I ordered. Will post pics when done.

Got mine installed and the back light on them is orange. Are you guys changing out lights too or did I buy orange lighted ones instead of white?

The same shit everyone else has.
I pulled the trigger on a set. Gonna tint them orange and hopefully do away with the chrome.

I just drilled out my aftermarket knobs (like another TW member posted) and pushed in the metal inserts from the stock knobs. Now the knobs have nice firm selection clicks (no side to side play) like the stock knobs do, which made this purchase much more enjoyable.

That's a cool idea, although even if the knobs were the right size you would still need to add light to the 4wd switch for it to shine through.

If I remember right that is just a dud cap. Although it is possible the circuit board is pre-wired for a light to be there... could be as simple as dropping a bulb in.

Def made a huge difference with the metal inserts. Also, I noticed that I could push the knobs further with the metal inserts in. This is because one of the knobs I drilled a bit too deep in and thought I ruined the knob . Then I realize that the metal inserts being pushed in more actually eliminates majority of the light bleeding from the back.
