Nice little upgrade. A little play in the knobs but really not that bad. IMG_1470.jpg

now, basic question...I gather the old knobs just pull off and the new ones slide on the shaft, and there is an LED to run the light up the clear shaft to light the indicator on the stock knob, and the ring on the new one.
My Question...can you change the color of the LEDs in the knob bases and is it simple replacement, or requires electrical changes?

the knob itself doesn't have a light in it. it just gets lit from the control unit itself

yeah with the led replacement of the lights in the unit itself or you could try some kinda of transparent paint from a hobby store of some kind

Would the LED replacements be some kind of a replaceable plug-n-play type, or is it more complicated? Maybe a thread on here somewhere?

from what I understand you have to take the control unit apart to replace them. it's not to difficult. I haven't replaced mine yet but I did take it apart to paint. there is a thread on it in here somewhere

I ordered a couple extra sets almost a month ago and still haven't received them. Customs I'm assuming.

Edit: pays to read. U said eBay. I bought my spares from Aliexpress.

Looks good! Only thing to keep in mind is you can no longer tell which setting it's at by feel, without taking your eyes off the road.
