Also I decided the screws (at least the stainless ones I ordered) don’t look good. I’m going to likely purchase an ABS dowel in a diameter that matches the hole diameters and fill the holes in.

I used a very small pair of wire cutters and grabbed on to the end in the knobs grove and pulled. Worked great. I struggled with the small screwdriver myself.E0E279D9-0CE7-477A-9D7A-D0EFBE20CFDA.jpg

Worth every minute taking those tiny metal inserts out of the factory knobs.

Fit and finish on the @AJT DESIGN knobs are spot on as always and quite frankly, beautiful.

Many many thanks to those that helped me and I'd say TW is victorious once more!!!

Also, anybody have a link to some LEDs for behind these controls?

Super super excited about These! Absolutely zero 'slop' when operating these knobs (just like he says in the video)

Even easier than using a screwdriver is to use mini needle nose pliers. There's enough to grab onto and they come slide right out. It literally took 5 seconds to remove each insert.

    Use these or one's similar

I pried the little metal rings out just a bit with a jewelers flathead and then grabbed them with needle nose - tried just the tiny needle nose first but my pliers are about toast so no go! You can catch the little groove of the metal and pry them out just enough to get a good grip - even with crappy needle nose pliers like mine!

Agree with @ChadsPride though... these things are sweet AF - match my @AJT DESIGN shift knob perfectly and have a 100% better feel than the factory clickers.

Curious if these work as well... I ordered some T3's for the left hand switches to match my AOB switch. There's a bit of "dead spotting" but not enough to bother me. What's the difference with the T4's - Size?

Any idea as to how much you need to remove from the stops? What did you use to do it?

probably get a chance to look behind the panels tomorrow and see if they will work

I know they worked on the gen 2.0 tacomas
