Did you try these yet? I got these a while back and while they worked, it was only a matter of about a month before they started flickering. Also, they dont provide as much light coverage as the OEM's, I think its because the somewhat uni-directional light pattern, in conjunction with it not sticking out far enough to get the light to all the control areas... so you will see some really bright spots which are nice, then some dim areas which makes it look odd overall.

    Guys,
Try these NEO4-NWHP from www.superbrightleds.com. They are white, bright and fit at $1.95 plus shipping. Remember LEDs have a polarity, so if you put them in and they don't light, remove turn 180 and reinsert.

I'm needing white LED's for my HVAC controls. I came across this part number in the above posting. NEO4-NWHP but the web site shows three different options.
Is this the right part for a 2011? Which option do I need? http://www.superbrightleds.com/

    Thanks....

My light behind the third control dial (the blowing direction) has been working on and off for years now. Dealership said it's the bulb and that it'd be $100 to fix it. I told them to pound sand.

I'm selling my truck so I want to fix it. It was just on and working fine for about a month and turned off the other day. Any ideas?? Don't think it's the bulb since it works half the time...

    Okay cool thank you!!

Is it hard to remove the pane of dials? Is there a thread on that? Don't you just pry the whole row out with a screw driver or something? Feel like I've done it in the past but can't remember...

Sooooooo, anyone know which diameter the bulb is? The LED option would fit but don't to by 6 bulbs when I only need two.

FrostyEldin. Not sure the size, but I purchased the above lights off Amazon. Lasted about 1 month, i went back to stock, puts out the most light, the LED's didn't work for me. I wish to see a comparison between the "superbrightLEDs" and Stock.

Great help that you posted the Napa Part #! I called a local store and can get a pack of 5 no problem. Before this I was searching everywhere with OE Part# and getting nowhere (out of stock). Thanks! PS - I joined the forum to send you this message.

I've been trying to get leds to work on mine. I'm pretty sure the contacts on the board ar an issue. I can lay the led one on the board led up and it will work. I flip it and can't get any connection. Yes I've check polarity. My incan bulbs are dicey when they are inserted. I get intermittent off, I tap on the dial and it comes on for a while, then off, I tap on it and back on, most of the time. I have to keep taking the panel off and jacking with the bulb to get it back on.
Inspecting the board and there appears to be wear on the copper. I did the erase clean, and alcohol wipe. Not helping.

Anybody have a trick or two I could try to repair the contact?

I can confirm that the post from jesseunvoas about part number NOE 600-0107 is correct. I bought one today for $4 but had to call the store. Napa's website stated that the bulb wasn't available at any local stores and wasn't available online.

I'm looking for a replacement bulb for the HVAC control panel and found this older thread and this recommendation for an aftermarket LED bulb. There are three variants on that product page and some people were asking which one to get...well, the answer is in the part number @cdma95 posted...NEO4-NWHP.

In case anyone in the future is confused about this, the 4 after NEO denotes the 4mm size and NW after the dash is "Natural 3800k White". The generic part number is NEOx-xHP where the first "x" is the size and second "x" is the color of the bulb.

I ordered a couple of the NWHP and a couple of the WHP (Cool 6600k White) to compare and see which I like better. I'll post results once they arrive.

And just to confirm, I did measure the plastic base of my bulb and it came out to 9.7mm which is closest to the 4mm model (which specs out at 9.4mm...close enough, I guess). Some photos:
