I think it is not the wiring issue, and on the same power feed there is a working lamp and not working:

My bet is on either disconnected power plug to heater panel (or broken) or as simple as burned bulb(s).

Hazard switch backlight is off but the hazards work when you push the button.
Rear diff. Lock SW (I'm assuming this is 4wd specific, as I don't seem to have that)
    A/C Switch is on
    Radio and player is off
Passenger airbag cut off indicator works
    Heater blower sw is dark

Electronic controlled transmission pattern select sw (again, a 4wd thing I think? I don't see this)
O/D Main SW - when I press O/D on the gear shifter, the light comes on the instrument panel. The switch itself doesn't seem to have a light.
Cigarette lighter illumination (I don't see a spot for this, but it's dark)
Ashtray illumination (again, I don't see where a bulb would even go, but it's dark)
Glove box light (ditto, no spot found for a bulb, and it's dark)

Since I have something that's working on both power feed wires in that diagram, does that mean that I'm dealing with several burnt out bulbs and an unrelated radio issue?

    Uhh, well.
    Have you tested the bulbs.
I was thinking this whole time that you had tested the bulbs?
If it’s just the bulbs, that would be funny.
    Talk about over thinking it.

I would agree that the radio is likely not the cause of the lights not working.
    Check the bulbs.

Yikes. This is going to be like that thread where the guy didn't think to check his dimmer switch and fixed the problem by sliding the dimmer switch back the correct way, isn't it? :)

The bezel is off, the bulbs are out. The radio problem seems to be that the previous owner decided to uninstall whatever he had in there previously by slicing all the wires and then just throw this one in the dash to take up the hole? All of the wires are just cut back there.

Is this little bulb the type that you could get at a Autozone, or do I have to order it on the internet? When I look up "climate control light bulb" it shows a part number of 194, but it looks bigger than this tiny bulb.

I'm very sorry to have wasted so much of your time over what ended up just being a burnt out bulb!

I thought that there was some significance to the lights and radio both being out, but it turns out that they were just two more unrelated problems with the truck! Thank you for your patience, and I'm sorry for not trying the obvious thing first!

I found a bulb that fit at Advance Auto. It's only 12w and the old one was 14w, but at least I can see at night now!

Thank you again for all of your help!

Glad you found it! I always try to check the cheapest thing first then move up. My dash was half burnt out when I bought my truck
