Are your PRND432L lights by the shifter fuse out as well?
Then the rear tail light fuse in the cabin is blown.
Your tail lights are out as well. They will be on when you press the brake, but not just running with the headlights on as usual.

I have the exact problem with mine, the dials are out but a/c, recirc, PRND, and tail lights work. I always thought it was just the bulbs and have been meaning to order new ones but haven't gotten around to it yet. Hopefully someone who has dealt with this can give us some input.

Hmm, I don't really know of any other suggestions.
Maybe some part of the wiring harness in the dash has gone bad/frayed/snapped?
    Visually check :notsure:

Some of the lights on my CC (2007) weren't working for a while - I just ignored it. One day I tried to start the truck and I heard a bzzzt noise and truck wouldn't start!! I found out that ( for some reason) there was a short in the plug where the CC harness plugs into the whole front assembly (assembly with the knobs). It was all black and fried.

I ended up buying another CC assembly, used. Luckily, I was able to clean out the wiring harness end - it was fine after that.

Check the plugs ... both ends???

I just bought new bulbs and they worked perfectly for a day and now they are out again. If I tap on the panel, they will sometimes come on and then go off again. I know it's not the bulbs and they are working intermittently. Strange.

I had that too. If I pushed the panel it would light. Then one day that stopped. It's a replacement unit and still the same thing. I have the LED four wheel drive lights hooked up to the same power source/harness that goes to the climate control and it lights up. I checked the harness and there's nothing broken or frayed.

me too. I was actually thinking of adding a LED above the climate controls under the radio to shine some light on the knobs at night

This would have been my quests as well. Had this happen on mine. I'd maybe try to disconnect plug, inspect, apply dia electric grease and recheck. Sounds like some of you guys are dealing with and intermittent issue?

Me to I need to tap the switch that controls settings. Been like this for years. Maybe this spring I'll pull unit and check connections because it's not the bulbs. Maybe Some will give us a more comprehensive explanation to fix

Bumping this thread. Having the same issue. Replaced the bulbs, only 1 worked for a day and now they’re both out for good.

Going to check the fuse and plugs for shorts today, but I doubt that will resolve the issue.

anyone out there find a solution?
