I've tried reading any post I could find on this issue, and can't seem to locate it.

My climate controls unit is acting odd. Sometimes the A/C button is lit up, and sometimes it isn't. Same with the circulation button. And typically one is on while the other is off. And I don't just mean the indicator button showing that it is on, I mean the actual backlight of the button. I've already unplugged it from the harness and tried to reseat it. Also tried slapping it (eh*hem... "love tapping" it).

I've replaced the bulbs for the knobs, but the A/C and circulation buttons are still acting up. Do I need to possibly splice a new hardness on? If so, what's the part number? I've honestly just thought about buying another control unit. But I figured the harness may be a bit cheaper.

What started all this joyful fun is that my blower stopped work. For a couple weeks it had a weird whirring/ticking sound, then yesterday it just stopped. Trying to figure out if it's the relay or the blower.

This that and the other thing.
ticking is a known issue with the motor. as far as everything else, not sure. resistors are pretty cheap. I would check connections for any burn marks. typically if its the resistor or connection issue your motor will act weird, like only on high or turn off an on by itself. but those are issues with the motor not the climate control acting weird.

    Part Number 87103-04044 - Motor
Part number 90980-10916 - Motor Connector
Part Number 82998-12380 - Wire and terminal (for motor connector)
Part Number 82141-04M40 - Instrument Panel Wire
