I have an 06, the fan control switch is not working properly. It is working, in the "full blast" setting. The two mid settings are not working. Has anyone got a creative fix for this?

More than likely you are looking at the resistor pack. It is located under the right side of the dash. You will see 4 wires, white w/black, blue w/black, white w/blue, and green w/yellow. You can test it by measuring to see if there is resistance by removing the connector, then testing for resistance between terminal 1, and 2, 3 and 4 of the resistor (Not the connector). You should show a different resistance between them. Don't worry about resistance between say 2 and 3, or 3 and 4. If you get no resistance, or an open between terminals 1 and any of the others, then the resistor pack is bad.

Had the same issue on my 05. Took it in under the certified used warrenty and stealership fixed it dont remember what the cause was, but if you still have a warranty I would try that route. I want to say I remember something about a resister being involved, but at the time I didnt really care what was wrong, as long as they fixed it.
