Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
Just paid $141 shipped from Mcgeorge Toyota in VA for my 08 without steering wheel control.

To the OP thanks tremendously for the write up. Was back up and running in under an hour.

    Help;

I have an 08 Tacoma, Double Cab TRD 4 litre automatic with Radio controls and cruise, I am having trouble figuring out the right part number for the clock spring for the truck so i can order the part.

Our issue is cruise switching on and off is flaky, so I intend to replace the cruise switch at the same time as it isn't as tight as our other truck is, the button feels a bit loose, little worn out.

MY research seems to lead me to 84306-0E010

Hey everyone. Got the solid airbag light.

    07 4Runner v8 sr5
    Driver Air bag light on.

Codes are b0101 and b1181 open in drivers squib and open in drivers squib (2nd step)

Ordered clock spring from eBay based on part number.
Part Looks like an exact match with exact label but can tell it’s not OEM when looking closely.

    Cleared srs codes.
    Disconnected battery for 30 min.

Replaced spiral cable smoothly. Pretty easy.

    Hooked up battery.

    Cleared codes

Rescanned. Codes still there. All steering wheel controls and horn work still.

    Bad cable? Something else ?
    Any suggestions?

For anyone having an airbag issue on a 2nd Gen Tacoma, this is the solution that worked for me that I documented here.

Hey thanks for the great post, but I'm confused. I too have the full option wheel. Radio/bluetooth. You said the right part is the 84306-04020, but then you mentioned the 84306-0E010. (and that appears to be the one in the 3rd picture you posted. (little purple sticker on the bottom there) Is that the old one?

Are these basically the same part, with the 84306-04020 just missing the grey module that can simply be swapped over from the old part or did you miss-post in the first sentence?
