Ok. I did the bed mat anti theft bolt mod (BMATBM) and it uses up one of the peep holes. The water just sits in the bed and the leaves ain't even falling much yet. So there's 2 peep holes out of 3 that are supposed to be working and they just don't work. If you drill out the peep holes bigger then it could ruin the guarantee. It's making a pond in the bed and it's going to get moldy and moss growing in there.

You could say well just park it inside but some people just don't have a garage that is empty enough to put the truck in.

So what does all you do about the pond that gets made in the bed when it rains?

Bed mat anti theft mod? I’m way behind on my mod research.

Well there is a problem where the bed mats are getting stolen cause they are not locked down and all you need to do is drill a hole in it and put a bolt thru in the middle peep hole. It also keeps it from blowing out. Some people said they can blow out of the bed.

You don't know about the holes in the bed? There is 3 to get the water out but they get clogged. If you park inside you don't know. But if you park outside it makes a pond and makes the bed dirty.

What's a peephole? Is that one of those things I've seen on those videos with someone on the other side?

Oh yeah. If it costs $100 and it ain't locked down you know it grows legs and gets walked away. People here steal pumpkins and flower pots.

Maybe OP is a truck driver and was thinking about the truck stop when he named this thread.

If you plan to drill please drill from underneath the truck. Lots of threads about people hitting lines by blindly drilling from the top

I plugged the drain holes to prevent water from entering the bed from below. But then, I have a camper shell so I'm not worried about water entering from above.

(The drain holes are 5/16" diameter. Three at the front of the bed, and a couple more inside the storage cubby. Home Depot or Lowe's has cheap plugs in that diameter.)

Make a new hole right above the spare tire and use a carriage bolt. Peeps will have to drop your tire to get to the bolt. If they aren’t prepared to take your spare, they may just move on.

That's what I was thinking when OP mentioned "Peep" holes.
Quite a difference between "Peep" and "Weep."

Just park heading uphill - the water then drains out the back .....
OR, clean out the bed occasionally so that the holes don't get plugged.
