Only a few are putting pro style badges on them. MOST are going with a grill they like better from a Tacoma Pro and wheels from a 4R pro.

So 2 things, only 1 being from a Tacoma pro makes it a clone?

I would have if it came in a Long Bed but it doesn’t. So I got a fully optioned OR and put some of the Pro features on it.

A pro has the same motor/performance as any other Tacoma. Yeah it has TRD intake and exhaust but they really don’t add anything.

A Shelby Mustang has major power upgrades and slapping badges on a stock mustang is different.

Because the best color in my opinion is MGM and they don’t make it in a PRO model!

Outside of a select few people, no one is trying to pass off their non-Pro as a Pro. There's a difference between having the Pro specific pieces, and having the Pro specific pieces and badging and trying to pass off your car as such.

I liked how the Pro pieces I have looked compared to the OEM equivalents. I also wanted a sunroof more than anything specific the Pro offered, so I selected the model that fit my needs as a sunroof equipped Pro model wasn't available until this year. Heck, I've got 2G Pro suspension, 2G Baja wheels, etc. My truck isn't a Pro, so who cares.

Lol I swear, most the knowledge and content of 3rd gen owners and 3rd gen threads are trim options and color comparisons:drunk:

Pretty sure those are a pro-clone side window, correct? Get those off eBay? Wanted a set myself.
