Love those lights on the rear corners of the rack! Any advice on how to run the wiring to the battery and switch in the cab?

Thanks, they've proven handy so far! We had some bad tornadoes last weekend and having those lights made it easier to see and clear trees off the roads so ambulances could get where they needed to go.

As far as wiring... mine are kinda funky but it turned out great. I didn't foresee having these lights when I set up my fuse/relay block last fall so I've got a relayed circuit to a switch in the cab that sends power to another fuse block in the bed. From the bed fuse block I've got four switches one for each light, so I can hit the cab switch to turn all of them on and isolate each light from a small stitch panel in the bed. I'll grab some pics for ya if you'd like but it may be a few days since I'll be out camping and wheeling till Sunday.

this is looking soooooo clean! Taxes have gotten in the way of getting mine set up but the truck's finally going in Monday for a suspension overhaul and to get the rack welded and ready for paint.

    Have fun out in nature!

Interested in the answer to this problem. @trekker did you not cut out slots on the pack rack rails so the clamps for the softopper can be used with the utility track? I tried using the clamps without cutting the pack rack rails and the tension from the clamps and the softopper are pulling the softopper rails back towards the center of the bed, which is causing the foam to slide out from underneath the softopper rail.

Yeah I cut slots for the clamps, but that was mostly because I had LED strips underneath the utility tracks and didn't want to destroy them with the clamps. I didn't realize it wouldn't work well otherwise. Mine secures the rails pretty good but the back ends to pull slightly inward from the tension.

That's about what happens with mine. The back ends of the softopper rails where the rod pops in, bend inward a good .5"-1". So when I put the rod in I have to pull one back end in order to make the rod fit. I was hoping there'd be an easy solution haha.

This is the second rack that has the mid, over the bed, section cut out to load large/tall items. Was this an option from Allpro or are you guys customizing the rack yourself?

I'd love to do the same but I have zero welding experience. Would love to learn as I can't justify paying the freight for a welded rack from Allpro.

It's a custom add on. All pro should make it an option though. You can get the coupler from Hellfire Fabworks https://hellfirefab.com/collections/crossmembers-skid-plates/products/tube-coupler-1-5x-120-wall
They have different sizes. Double check with all-pro the size of pipe before crashing into the coupler sale.

Gotcha. I kinda assumed that was the case.

I'm in no hurry. Still have to acquire welding equipment and the skill set to complete the job before I make any racking material purchase.

Gotta be OTT since I have a Softopper too.
    Thanks

Rack is fresh out of powder coat and CVT installed, rock sliders are on their way from SOS and then stage 1 of the overland build will be complete. Hoping to start outfitting the rack with accessories pretty soon. Anyone have an update on how they installed the softopper without having to cut notches in the rails? I noticed the factory rails have small cutouts underneath but they aren't quite wide enough for the topper clamp. It may work though, need to give it a shot.

For those who have cut the notches in the rack for the softopper, could someone show pics of where they cut and possible measurements? I have a 2013 DCSB. I am getting a softopper sometime next month and want to have the rack ready for it. Thanks in advance!
