We added in the BD serial number section. I apologize for so much information, but Magnuson keeps adding things that are needed for the CARB sticker. Hopefully we have all the info now.

Anyone having issues with leaks around the coolant reservoir? I had not noticed anything obvious since I installed the supercharger before Thanksgiving. However, I just checked the coolant level and it seemed slightly lower than my initial fill. If I did not find any issues I would have figured this was due to air in the system but I found that both of the reservoir connections seemed wet and when i felt the bottom of the reservoir it was wet as well. Without disconnecting the hoses I tried to wiggle them around and tighten the hose clamps but they still seem to be weeping slightly. I checked all of the other connections in the loop and they are dry.

Any suggestions? I am considering a run up to the auto parts store for some new hose clamps and RTV. Unless someone has a better idea I am going to drain the system, dry the reservoir fittings, and apply RTV before reassembling.

I haven't had any issues with coolant leaks. If it's a spring clamp holding the hose, maybe it's lost it's tension.

If you replace the clamps with the worm gear type, be carful not to tighten it too tight since the nipples on the reservoir are plastic.

I had an issue with one of the spring clamps right near the oil filter. It was loose and sprayed coolant all over. Put a screw down type clamp on it and problem solved. No other leaks since then.

There is an overflow valve built into the cap. The coolant may have "burped" out of the cap if you didn't fully bleed the system.

That said I noticed the overflow tank is sensitive to leaking - the plastic has a rough texture to it and I think the hose needs time to fully seat/bond on the fitting. Just cranking down on the hose clamp is risky.

    ...too much shit to list.
It likely was just air in the system getting burped out. Mine did the same thing but leveled out after a few heat cycles.

I also went with an AFE dry filter, never put the K&N in the truck. No codes yet, but I'm not sure I've driven enough miles for the truck to finish learning the tune.

My reservoir leaked when I first fired it all up. I didn't tighten the lower hose clamp enough because I was worried about breaking the damn tube. I cranked down on the clamp a little bit more and the leak stopped.

Check engine light came on this morning when I got to work. I thought it was going to be the p0101 maf but to my surprise it was P219B Bank 2 Air/Fuel Ratio Imbalance. FUCK! :frusty:

Going to try and uninstall the bd tune and update with update agent and reinstall the bd tune again. We'll see what happens.

I had a picture on my phone of the settings on the BD tuner when I was using it. It listed the BD serial# there so that's what I punched in. Hopefully it was the correct one.

Just got off the phone with bullydog trying to uninstall the tune. It only took 40 min. Going back and fourth to my truck then the computer. I was getting some error message code 551 and wasn't able to uninstall. Finally was able to reinstall the tunes. I will keep you guys posted. Again thanks for everyone's help.

I don't think problem is with the tune. I won't speculate as to what the problem is but that code would seem to indicate a faulty component somewhere.

But maybe the reflash will do it. :fingerscrossed: @tacomavoyager don't forget to clear the learned settings in the ECU before you drive!

The easiest way is to disconnect the battery, then cycle the ignition, turn on the headlights and/or hit the horn to discharge any residual capacitance. Let sit 10-15 minutes then reconnect the battery.
