I will be asking for a written statement that the supercharger/intake were the issue. Going to try and sit down and talk with the manager and hopefully come to a agreement in house and see what they'll do. But I feel like it won't be much. The service advisor said that they've taken $1500 off to bring the final cost down to $6000. And worst comes to worst I'll be contacting Toyota corporate to explain the problem with the dealer. I'm not one for confrontation. But I feel what they are doing is wrong.

Yes it does. On the dash you have the red key that is always flashing that's the immobilizer. You will get the code B2799 if you try and start the truck it will just crank and crank. In order to see that code or make changes you need the tech stream cable/software.

No chip in my FJ key too, chip came from 07/2007 production. I don't know about Tacoma.

I confirmed with @Gadget@URD yesterday that his AFR Sensor Calibrator is compatible with my 2014. He was answering emails on Sunday which was surprising. I ordered one this morning. It only works in closed loop, but my AFR is OK in open loop so this should get me by until the UCON is available.

@Biscuits curious to know how your afr reading are with the trd flash. Do yours drop anytime with boost or only open loop?

Probably similar to the maf cal where you tap into a few wires at the ecu harness. Then use serial cable with the tuning software provided.

Do the AFR Sensor Calibrator came with software? It's not available with UCON.

Yes it comes with the software you just need a serial cable and pc. Look for the urd utune guide PDF for details.

Not available with ucon because ucon does much more..

All I can say is wow.....SC, Bully dog, 2.85 pulley, Moroso Air/Oil, URD fuel pump upgrade...and a tech that remapped my tune...This is one badass mofo. Gonna schedule a dyno soon....gotta save a little money up since I seem to be spending it in gas...

If your tech would like to remap mine, I'd be happy to make a road trip :burnrubber:
Also if you have costco or equivalent, premium is much cheaper at those places.

He could make some coin remapping ecus for people lol. I would be willing to let him if he is as good as you say. Mine runs ok, but I feel that it isnt up to full potential. Not sure if thats from the whole BD debacle or what.

Not sure where you are in relation to Indianapolis, but that is only a 9 hour drive. Very doable.
